- Prepare 1 box of Yellow cake mix (with ingredients to mix).
- It’s 1 box of Jiffy cornbread mix (with ingredients to mix).
It is cornbread made by my Southern Granny. DIRECTIONS Beat eggs, milk and oil together. Add all dry ingredients to wet and mix well. In a large bowl, mix together the cornmeal (or polenta), flour, sugar, salt and baking powder.

- Make cake batter as directed.
- Make jiffy cornbread mix as directed.
- Mix the two together.
- Pour into a 13×9 greased dish.
- Bake 350 for 30 minutes or until light brown.
